I am delighted to welcome you to our school website and hope that it provides you with a valuable insight into Glenveagh School, our ethos and the educational opportunities that we provide.
Glenveagh caters for pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties, aged 8-19 years. We are a co-educational, inter-denominational, controlled school. Pupils at Glenveagh have a vast range of needs and abilities. Hence, we aim to provide each pupil with a broad and balanced educational programme tailored to meet specific needs.
We aim to create a welcoming and happy environment, where children feel safe and secure and are supported and motivated to learn and develop independence. There is a strong emphasis on pastoral care and pupil wellbeing. We believe that each pupil’s learning capacity has no limits, and that our strong nurturing ethos will ensure that pupils enjoy their learning journey and reach their full potential. We take great pride in our pupil achievements, valuing and celebrating these.
We pride ourselves in having a fun-loving, child-centred, knowledgeable and skilled staff team who are committed to developing and sustaining strong links with parents, carers, families and the wider community.
Both our website and our Facebook page allow us to showcase the many achievements of our pupils and capture some of the fun and learning that we see here in Glenveagh. Please feel free to contact us on 02890 669907 or at email@example.com if you would like further information about Glenveagh School.
Thank you for taking the time to browse.
